The Art of the Tagine

One of my favorite pieces is the tagine. No, I'm not talking about the food itself (which is also visually appealing), I'm talking about the pot in which it is cooked and served. The earthenware pot comes in a variety of sizes and colors, with different tribal designs etched on the surface. Nothing is like having the tagine served to you for the first time. The elegant artistry of the pot is mesmerizing as it is whisked off the surface of the bowl to reveal a rich delicacy.
