Spanish Influence in Morocco

Today we'll be talking about the influence of Spain throughout Morocco's history and how it remains in modern Moroccan culture. The closest nation across the Strait of Gibraltar from Morocco is Spain, so of course the two countries have been interacting with each other throughout history. Though much of this interaction has been defined by war and conflict, cultural exchange with Spain's Islamic minority has led to prominent advances in art, literature, and of course cuisine.
